Built on
quiet conviction.
Norton & Rogers was founded on a simple belief: that the best homes are not found — they are made. We acquire privately, renovate with care, and sell to people who understand what they are looking at.
From kitchens to homes, built properly.
Norton & Rogers grew out of a shared passion for making things well. In 2017, Darren and Tina were manufacturing kitchens — Darren bringing the construction background, Tina the eye for design and interior planning. It was a natural starting point, but they both knew where they were headed.
In 2018 they made the move into property renovation full time. Since then they have transformed homes across Chester and the surrounding villages — each one acquired quietly, renovated thoroughly, and handed over to new owners in the best condition it has ever been in.
Now in their third year of sponsoring Saughall Colts, a local children's football club, they remain committed to the communities their work takes place in. The business continues to grow — but slowly, and only on their own terms.
The principles we work by.
Every property we touch is approached with the patience of people who care about the result. Materials are chosen carefully. Decisions are not rushed.
We are straightforward to deal with. No inflated promises, no hidden agendas. Just honest work and honest results.
We are rooted in Chester and the surrounding area. We invest in the neighbourhoods we work in — not just in the properties.
We renovate homes we would be proud to live in ourselves. Every project should look as considered in twenty years as it does today.
Two people. One standard.

Tina co-founded Norton & Rogers with Darren in 2017, bringing over 40 years of experience in designing homes that are as practical as they are beautiful. Having created more than 35 bespoke family homes, she has a passion for designing spaces where people truly want to live. Her approach centres on thoughtful layouts, timeless design and uncompromising quality, ensuring every detail is carefully considered and nothing is overlooked. From the first concept to the finishing touches, Tina works closely with Darren to create homes that combine craftsmanship, functionality and exceptional design to deliver spaces that families will enjoy for generations.

Darren began his career as an apprentice joiner, developing the craftsmanship and attention to detail that continue to define his work today. After leading the renovation of Railtrack properties across the North West and founding a successful manufacturing business specialising in non-slip surface products, he co-founded Norton & Rogers with Tina in 2017.
With decades of hands-on construction experience, Darren oversees every project from the initial assessment through to completion, ensuring every stage is delivered with precision, integrity and uncompromising quality. His commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous project management means every Norton & Rogers home is built to stand the test of time.
“We are not the right people for every home.
But for the right home, there is no one better.”
